Newsletters
Choir newsletters include information about upcoming performances, workshops, choir news, social events, and more. Newsletters are sent out to choir members via email. Once you've attended your first SFYL program/session, you'll be added to our mailing list (you can unsubscribe at any time - just scroll to the bottom of any newsletter).
What to wear? - our uniform colours
Our performance colours are FULL BLACK (including shoes), with EMERALD GREEN AND SILVER accents - subtle accessories rather than blocks of those accent colours.
We also have a range of clothing available for those who wish to purchase items with our green embroidered choir logo. THE EMBROIDERED UNIFORM ITEMS ARE NOT COMPULSORY. Singers can purchase the optional uniform items or they can just wear things they currently own - samples of green fabric are available at choir sessions to help you colour match accessories. Please avoid shades of green that aren't a close match with the embroidered choir logo or the fabric samples - we need to avoid greens with too much blue or yellow. If you don't want to wear green (or don't own anything in the right colour), it's easy - just wear black, with a bit of silver added if you want. Please note, an item with a logo must be from our approved uniform range - please don't sew a logo onto any other item (see the 'important note' below for more info).

Our updated uniform range - now available at ID Clothing in Moonah
- In late 2025 we refreshed our uniform range. We kept most of the existing range and added several new items, including some new performance tops, plus beanies and a new rainjacket (both for outdoor performances only). We also have two great bags in the updated range - a 'phone bag' which is perfect to wear while performing outdoors, and a satchel-style 'messenger' bag (this is more of a 'souvenir' item - not to be work when performing).
- Some items are longer be available for purchase - polar fleece vests, polar fleece and Ruga scarves, Eva top, Preston self-stripe shirt, and the windproof jacket that folds up into a small bag. If you already own any of these items, you can still wear them for performances.
